The Infinite Loop of Polite AI ViolenceAre we all just collectively hallucinating at this point? Yesterday, I received a 400-word email from a colleague that read like a Victorian magistrate trying to sell me a timeshare. It had synergy, it had proactive alignment, it had three bullet points. I didn't read it. Instead, I fed it into my AI summary tool. The summary? "He says 'no'."Do you realize what we've done? We are paying $20 a month for our AI agents to write essays to each other, only for our other AI agents to condense them back into the original three-letter word we were too tired to type. We've automated the vibe check, and the vibes are critically low.Me: writes "sure"My AI: "I hope this email finds you well! After careful consideration of your query..."Their AI: "Summary: sure"We are running out of thermal energy for the planet just to avoid saying "ok". Let's bring back raw, unfiltered, slightly ominous 2000s email etiquette. If your email doesn't look like a threat sent from an unregistered Blackberry at 3:14 AM, I'm not opening it.
