Do you have a conference or corporate event coming up? Check out these benefits of getting it filmed by professional event videographers.
Creating an event video can be an excellent way of building brand awareness for your company. But the question is, should you create a video with the help of your employees or hire a professional event videographer?
Rose Stuckey Kirk, Chief Corporate Social Responsibility Officer at Verizon, talked to NationSwell about the importance of professionalizing
This next year is for strategy and implementation and towards that end: finding models of professionalism that balance honesty, passion and execution.
It’s one thing to have innovative ideas but it’s another if you lack the follow through, discipline and know how to implement them in pragmatic ways while also building a business case for your unique vision.
If I had to ask her a question I’d ask, how does one build a practice of integrity as a professional and further, how one go about creating organization systems around that? I’m prompted to this line of inquiry by this standout quote of this article:
“Authenticity matters. And that means not touting how great you are for the planet if your business and operations aren’t aligned with that; don’t jump on the racial justice bandwagon if you’re not willing to hold your leadership accountable for execution throughout the organization. I love how disciplined Verizon is about these things. We’re not fans of moonshot targets. We’re all about doing what we say and holding ourselves accountable.”
Especially as I consider how our generation’s priorities orient around authenticity and how we seek to find meaning in our roles in the world in new, distinct ways. You see this priority especially as we look at the rise of influencer marketing and how it’s not enough to sell a product but what most brands are selling really is “community”, that to buy x means you are in a community of x people (in group dynamics).
