I just returned home from the Annual Founder's Day Celebration at one of the companies I serve (virtually) in Maryland. It was great to stay over and do chaplain rounds, meet, speak to and fellowship with the owners and the hundreds of employees I only talk to by phone and online all year. I love being a corporate chaplain. Sharing the life, love and care of Christ virtually and in person at the companies I serve. I love being a corporate chaplain. It meant closing my vocal studio and cutting back almost 90% on seamstress work; but I'm walking in my calling, which makes it totally worthwhile. I recently had the wonderful opportunity to lead 2 people (in one of the companies I serve) to Christ. This always brings me joy. At Corporate Chaplains Of America, (an organization I am very pleased to be a part of), we (as chaplains) strive to fulfill our mission, walk out our calling and serve our companies with excellence by showing the love of Christ and sharing His story every opportunity allowed. We give of our wisdom, our knowledge and make ourselves available 24/7 in the process. We know that in doing this, we are fulfilling the "Great Commission" which will ultimately lead to the doorway of "Developing caring relationships with the hope of gaining permission to share the life-changing good news of Jesus Christ in a non-threatening manner."
