Hoop for Episode 168 - Roots, for @reesa_puffs who kindly donated to The Okra Project. Thank you!!
"Report to prevent future deaths. This report is being sent to:
The Great Eye that watches all who linger in terror and gorges itself on the sufferings of those under its unrelenting, stuporous gaze. And its Archive, which draws knowledge of this suffering unto itself.
One: Coroner.
I am Oliver Banks, sometimes known as Antonio Blake or Dr Thomas Pritchard. I serve The Coming End That Waits For All And Will Not Be Ignored."
Corpse roots my beloved <3
I had a lot of fun with this one :-) caw caw (click me, I’m transparent!)
Oliver 'I have more fake names than the show has reoccuring characters' Banks
All things end, and every step you take, whatever direction you may choose, only brings you closer to it.
Everyone else has been rightfully going ham over this ep and drawing lots of Oliver, so I thought I’d join in!! I absolutely love this man
[Image ID: A traditional drawing of Oliver Banks. Oliver is a thin Black man with long curly hair pulled up into a bun atop his head over an undercut, a short beard, and red eyes. He wears white pants, a black tank top beneath a sheer long sleeved black shirt, dangling gold earrings, and two simple necklaces. His skin is threaded with black veins. He stands in the middle of the Corpse Routes, where black and red veins reach out from where he is standing and thread through the graveyard surrounding him, heading out in all directions. A single small vein has climbed up his leg, and is caught in his hand. He is standing with his arms crossed, and looking up at the viewer with a small, self assured smile. the top of the drawing is labeled “Oliver Banks” in stylized writing. End ID.]
"But the End knows there is no paranoia about your own demise. Only that dim, plodding awareness of its constant approach."
