Hes the oldest and longest working but hes also not very experienced as a person i mean like where does he derive the inspiration, do they like to read? How does one get better at that stuff when you didnt get to live your life. Thats when you write stuff like mitochondria is powerhouse of the cell. like, if you ask me? this is part of why the music isn't getting better. writing from experience isn't interesting when your life experience can be summed up as...normal-to-stressful, with rabid and incredibly lucky success.
what is there to write about?
other kpop groups that don't self-produce get great, diverse songs because they buy them from other people. they get to benefit from casting a wide net and borrowing experience from others.
in this case, being so strictly self-produced is a serious drawback.
i believe it was the philosophical scholars in Fall Out Boy who said "perfect boys with their perfect lives / nobody wants to hear you sing about tragedy"
