I just noticed that Bloodshot is connected to none other than Sony Pictures, just like Outlander. The co-president of Sony Pictures Television Studios is Chris Parnell. 

I remember reading a comment from someone who attended the NY PaleyFest on 10.5.18. She said someone asked if they were there to see Sam...and by the way, did they like his new haircut? He was surprised to hear they were there to see Caitriona.

Why did a member of the studio/network just assume fans were there to see Sam and mentioned something as mundane as his haircut, as if he didn't know it was for a movie? Why surprised about being fans of Caitriona, too? Are they that clueless? Did he report back to Chris Parnell, who was also in attendance?

Parnell has been busy. He was quoted in Entertainment Weekly’s 10.5.18 issue regarding shippers: ...“But if it comes a point when it is aggressive, or takes a step over into harassment, that’s where I feel like it’s not healthy for both the person doing it and certainly not healthy for our cast and crew.”

Even Bob Layton tossed in his Single Sam comment in the tweet shown above: I know the women love Sam but he’s a really good guy and hard working fellow too. The way it’s worded makes it sound as though women wouldn’t love him if he is a really good guy and hard working fellow. 

Everyone is on the Single Sam bandwagon lately. Caitriona even got involved, albeit with great reluctance and ending in an unfortunate meltdown. 

I happen to believe that Happily Married Sam (or Sam in a Committed Relationship, if you prefer) is more appealing and way sexier than the Sam they’re promoting.

I wonder when the #Time’sUp movement is going to catch up with the guys who are directing this narrative. They really need to update their antiquated notions about what women like.

Please note that this is a corrected version. I heard from several people that Parnell is not the one who spoke with the attendees. This is from @gastairfad:

For the sake of accuracy @denise-alwaysuselove, it was in the group of 6 people I was with during Paley that 2 of them talked to the guy working for Starz. It wasn’t Chris Parnell and it wasn’t Jamie French, it was someone else but I didn’t catch his name (I’m not even sure he gave it.)

Thank you for setting this straight! The last thing I want is to put out incorrect information.
