Hi! I really really don't want to be rude because I respect your writing :) but this is a huge pet peeve of mine. I really love that you made a disclaimer about the hypothesis/theory thing, but it doesn't go theory --> law. Theories are big sets of laws that describe a whole system, laws are well-tested facts. (So, you can't prove or disprove a theory, but you can disprove laws that support/describe a theory.) (Ignore this if it's just me being obnoxious about jargon, I can do that sometimes.)
This is a good disclaimer/correction. (And not rude at all, no worries there. That which proves me wrong leaves me better-informed – or at least jogs my crappy memory as I’ve been out of school for a decade now 9_6)
