My reaction to the Fire Emblem Direct
I wanted to wait till the hype died down a little bit to make this post because I didn't want to post anything I would have to change later. Negative thoughts. •The Direct was way too short. It's not going to kill me considering all the news we got but I still think it could have been longer. There were some questions/concerns some of us had that were not mentioned. •Where is the Corrin amiibo I was promised like three tears ago? Yes, I know it hasn't been THAT long, but it has been a while since we heard anything about it and honestly, i had forgotten about it until recently. •No mention of older titles coming to the virtual console so we're still not sure if PoR is going to be affordable again. •There was an in-app purchase of $80? Did i see that right? Hmm not willing to put so much money into Heroes no offense. That's more than a full game. I'm sure it's not necessary but I still don't like the fact that it's there. •The "extended trailer for Warriors wasn't extended by a lot. Positive thoughts. •Brand new game for the Switch! •Gaiden remake which leads me to believe that they're remaking the older games. FE 4 please! •Alm and Celica amiibo, even though I don't like the base, I think they still look beautiful and am considering getting them. •Heroes looks amazing for a mobile game and I hope I can use all of my favorites. I am worried about my battery life tho. •Good voice for that kind of Direct! I think the Switch presentation guy still haunts them lol •I like the voting for Heroes and love that the fans are given an incentive to voice their opinion. •It brought all of us together under the same tags regardless of who played what game first or if they are a veteran. Yay! Why can't we always be like this? So yeah, even though there were things I wished had been addressed and the time thing, I was very haply with the direct.
I got my Nadi-baby!!!!!! I fortunately found a Player 2 Corrin amiibo offered on Amazon for 12.99 and away from the trap that is scalpers. The sword she wields is a little bendy, but overall, it is a good figure. My fire emblem amiibo collection is nearly complete! I just need male Corrin, but there’s no rush.
