Slipping away from the lights and sounds of the main deck, Cage was glad to have a second to catch his breath, enjoy the salty sea air. And sit down -- holy hell, had he forgotten how hard dancing all night and standing in corners to socialize could be when you had been on your feet at work all week. But his brother-in-law's house was nearly complete, and this was his reward. A blue raspberry lemonade. He realized, as someone came out after him, he wasn't alone in needing a beat, offering Cori a quick smile and wave. "Fresh air?"

So far, so good. He had managed to get through eating a small meal, drinking a couple of beers, and even sharing a quick dance with friends and hadn't stepped on one toe, spilled anything down the front of himself, or messed up his hair. The night was still young. Jason found himself stepping away from the hub of activity, letting out a relieved breath at the relative quiet closer to the creek, his hand reaching up to loosen the knot on his bow tie. Rolling his head on his neck, he relaxed to the sound of bubbling water tumbling over the small dam, feeling a smile stretch across his face that only grew when he recognized a familiar face nearby. "You clean up pretty good there, anchorwoman."
