I made a Corrupting Dusk inspired collage at an art workshop tonight! I'm really proud of it.

I don't do collage that often but whenever I do I have an absolute blast- so maybe I'll do more!

have you ever been alone in a desert? to slip into the sand feeling the sun, alive as can be, slowly devour your very life feeling yourself flipping from your skin drying up from the inside out no water in sight no food to sustain you the sun that gave you so much life one day taking yours away the next but some reprieve approaches as the blinding oppressive yellow fades to orange you feel the moon behind you a sight once distrusted now you're only hope for survival

Quick thing of what I imagined during THE sequence in the last episode. Won't spoil it but OH BOY.

I'm just kinda hoping this is self explanatory, and I might do another version of this in a more detailed style once my hands are fully healed (They're getting a lot better btw!)

New Corrupting Dusk episode is live 👀

After some encouragement, Atlas is convinced to follow through on his ideals. Though he worries that his frequent visits to Hephaestus are attracting attention.

Leal!!! Had to draw him next obvs, I don't like the rendering here as much as Atlas' but it's whatever, maybe I'll redraw him at some point. I just need to get these out there and gather as many people as possible.

edit: IT"S LEAL- IT"S IN THE DESCRIPTION OF THE VIDEOS AHHHHH- anyway his name has been CORRECTED- oopsies!

Leal is an incredibly interesting character to me, being fully indoctrinated into the Church of The Light- very much mirroring many of the modern christian movements in western society- whose life begins and ends with their Faith. It doesn't mean that it sits above others- it's that their faith is completely intertwined within it to the point where anything going against it isn't just bad- it's a tragedy. I'd love to talk about him more, especially his relationship with Atlas. Because homophobia is seemingly not a thing to worry about in the church/their society..but they hide it at the same time. It's weird.

But I can't get into that here, maybe I'll make it it's own post. Anyways here's a flat color version:

(he feels so incomplete with his scarf but it's just a bust portrait of him. He is so primary color. Oh god now I'm thinking about his and Atlas' color pallets and how similar they are and what that means for their characters- I'm going crazy JOIN ME)

I drew Atlas!

This was drawn via the freeform selection tool in procreate because it's the least taxing on my hands while they heal. I'm getting a good hang of it imo! I'm planning on making more fannart of corrupting dusk because the severe lack of anything about it on here that isn't the posts announcing it are driving me crazy.

Also, in the official render of Atlas in the videos he has some discoloration on his skin but I wasn't sure if that was intentional as discoloration or a scar or if that was just the chosen shading for his picture. So rn I headcanon it as permanent discoloration from when the dusk was pushed out of him as a child, but here's a version without it:

Corrupting Dusk: Episode 3 is now live!

Atlas and Leal recover from the loss at the two patients from their first outing in Hephaestus. But after a renewing amount of encouragement and determination, Atlas makes the decision to return to save the last two. Even if it means that he and Leal are now without official backup.
