“Why can’t they just say it? Is it so difficult?”

Emma grinned at her friend. “I love you, Cristina,” she said. “And I’m glad you’re getting to visit Fearie, even if it’s under weird circumstances. Maybe you can find a hot faerie guy and forget about imperfect Diego.”

Cristina smiled, “I love you, too, Emma,” she said. “And maybe I will.”

         "i'm all for the aggressive training but. . . don't you think that's a little overkill?" his tone was light and not at all judgmental as he stepped into the training room. he had been sent to los angeles not by the clave, but by a friend who had found a clue about his father's whereabouts here in the city. whether or not he was still here was something grayson was hoping to find out. he offered the other shadowhunter a warm smile, raising his hand in greeting---- and self-defense. "didn't mean to barge in, but i heard someone in here and couldn't help myself. i'm grayson. grayson stormwright."

Klaus Mikaelson was never one to show anyone mercy. Mercy was a weakness.  As was love or and form of caring for another. As such a high ranking demon, of course, he had a reputation to maintain. He did not want people thinking he would go soft because the blonde would bat her lashes at him. No, his heart was never weak to a pretty face. A nice distraction, sure, he would indulge himself once in a while. But, like everything in his life, it was fleeting.

            entire  world  had  been  replaced  with  TERROR .    there’s  a  war  going  on    . . .      &   yet  are  told  that  THEY  have  it  all  backwards     /     how  poison  drips  off  of  tongue  as  SUPERIORITY  leaks  off  of  every  word .     made  her  blood  boil  ,    watching  as  more  UNFAMILIAR  faces  enter  the  institute ,     making  themselves  at  HOME  as  they  pleased .       (      it  was  THEIR  home  !      where  they  grew  up     &    now   ;    just  ANOTHER  stop  for  centurions  ,      with  SHINY  pins    &     pushing  them  further  away  from  their  OWN  issues .          ❝    --------     can  YOU  believe  diana   allowed  this  ?     they  can’t  just  WALTZ  in  here     &     take  over  !   ❞

                       ‘ y’ know when I said   ‘this is your worst idea yet’ ? ‘    James doesn’t exactly   HATE   the American institutes, but he sure as hell doesn’t love them. Every time he comes over on diplomatic work some metaphorical shit is hitting the metaphorical ceiling & James always gets thrown into the janitor role when it does. Mortal war, dark war, you name it, & some American Institute has their name posted under it.  Not to mention, Sirius is banned from the LA institute so James has a serious problem going solo to these shindigs.  

           ‘ that was more of an figure of speech than a   D A R E . ‘ He likes Emma Carstairs, he really does, but he has a particular   sore spot   for people who come up with horrible, life-threatening ideas that are not inherently   James’.   He likes to think   HE   holds the title on capital bad ideas---- but currently Emma is taking the cake.

“whose blood is that?”

“I’m fairly certain it’s my own. But that’s a fifty-fifty chance. H-Honestly I’m not really sure at this point.” He knew he was rambling, but couldn’t bring himself to care. There was so much blood and he hoped it wasn’t all his. “Go and make sure everyone else is okay. I’ll be fine.” He promised, nodding a bit as if he was trying to tell himself that more than her. “I’ll be fine.” Alec repeated again softly.
