semi-hiatus

I'm doing this semi reluctantly as I really want to still be active on Magnus and keep him as one of my main muses. I do have muse but it's currently very selective and I quickly become overwhelmed on this blog. I will definitely not be abandoning this blog and my plan is to give it a makeover, maybe change my url and just start over in a way and see if that helps me out. In the meantime you can find me on any of these three blogs — francis valois, woolsey scott or my multimuse.

“Yes. I wasn’t the one drinking from lake lyn. And I learned I can share my runes so.” With a shrugged e patted his neck. He wanted to tel Magnus about the sword. Could he? He hadn’t been the one to make a promise to Robert…

“It’s a strange mix of colours and it doesn’t match with the rest of the outfit.”

“I didn't think it was that bad! Maybe not my best outfit but certainly not that bad.”

“Thank you and you've heard correctly, yes. You'd really be interested in me doing yours?”

they had been taking this relationship very slowly, neither of them wanting to rush it along and risk ruining things before they really got a chance. that and alec was still figuring things out, how relationships worked seeing as this was his first one. he still had a lot of learning to do, but so far things were going good between them, smiling as their lips met, a rush of excitement flooding through him as they curled up together and kissed. it was nice, sharing a bed with him, not as anxious as before now that magnus made sure he knew that he wasn’t expecting anything to come from this. not that he was really worried about that beforehand, magnus was quick to make sure he understood they would take this as slow as alec would like. “okay, thank you. besides, i kind of like this..” he murmured– just laying together like this was enough, feeling his warmth press into his side.

magnus was more than happy to just be patient with alec and let him set the pace. he wanted them both to be comfortable with where their relationship was going, not to be forcing alec into something he wasn't ready for. the idea of sharing a bed with alexander was one he already loved, feeling the shadowhunter curled up beside him with their bodies easily fitting against each other. “so do i.” magnus agreed softly. it was calm and peaceful, especially when compared to the rest of their days and some cuddling and kissing was what they both needed. “if this sweater goes missing, don't blame me.” he teased softly.

alec had still needed to finish some things up before he could be done for the day, but he hadn’t wanted to turn magnus away either, not when he had come here to spend time with the shadowhunter. he told magnus to wait for him in his bedroom, that he would be there soon– he hadn’t expected it to take so long though, wondering if magnus had even stuck around. but as he opened the door to his bedroom and his hazel eyes caught the sight of his boyfriend looking quite adorable wearing one of his sweaters, he was relieved that wasn’t the case and magnus had stayed. “what? no, of course you don’t have to leave, this is.. great.” alec smiled, nervous at sharing a bed with him. they had been growing closer as the days dragged on, but they had yet to sleep together. alec chewed on his bottom lip, quickly stripping himself of his pants, keeping his shirt and boxers on before sliding into his bed next to magnus, laying there nervously. “this is alright for you, isn’t it?”

he wouldn't say he was nervous exactly about sharing a bed with alec but he was perhaps slightly cautious. he knew things were going well between them but he didn't want things to go downhill because they made the wrong move too soon. but alec's response and smile put his worries at ease, at least for that evening. once alec slid into bed beside him, he shifted up slightly, just enough to lean his head against alec's shoulder. “more than alright. and if you're worrying, i want you to know that i'm not expecting anything from this. okay?” he smiled gently, leaning up to peck his lips.

There was a long silence as he thought over the question, frowning as he tried to think over how much he’d actually had to drink. It was a poor coping mechanism, he knew that, but it was the thing that worked best for the warlock. He hadn’t expected Jace to be asking the question. “A lot.” He answered eventually.

“I never meant to hurt you, I hope you know that.” He sighed softly, looking away from her for a few moments. “I know that doesn’t make it right or good but I didn’t do it on purpose. As for your question, I can’t answer it. You know I’ve already done damage, it’s whether you trust me not to do it again. Because I don’t want to hurt you.”

“Yes, I am well aware. You’ve told me plenty of times and made it quite clear about all the horrible things I have done. But I didn’t intend for it. I was being paid and that was all I knew. I had no idea of any concequences.”
