[07:04] LP: I discovered a journal from a troll that was called the 8alancer.
[07:04] LP: An adult troll, of course.

[07:05] LP: She told the story of a 8attle 8etween the Darkened Oceaneer and the Accursed Demonist.

[07:07] LP: The Oceaneer was a pir8 (which is why I was so interested in the story in the first place) and the rel8tionship 8etween the Oceaneer and the Demonist is somewhat similar to the one 8etween Dualscar and Mindfang, without the kismesissitude.

[07:08] LP: The Demonist was someone who enjoyed stealing from the heiress, though the Oceaneer was extremely against that one act.
[07:09] LP: One day, in the middle of the Great North Sea, they met after the Demonist was returning from plundering the heiress' newly reloc8ed palace.
[07:09] LP: The Oceaneer confronted him, along with her crew, and a great 8attle 8egan.
[07:09] TA: 38O!!!!!
[07:10] LP: Now the Oceaneer had two trolls of note of her ship: her first m8, and her apprentice. The first m8 was a female troll known as Fire8ird. Her apprentice was a young troll named Vanora.
[07:10] TA: (tidally naut rooting foar demonist)
[07:10] LP: There were rumors that Fire8ird and the Oceaneer had a moirallegience, 8ut there was no evidence for or against those rumors.
[07:12] LP: The Demonist didn't have a first m8, as he trusted no one in such a position of prestige, 8ut he did have crew mem8ers. Only one is of note in the story, named Tulius, and he was kidnapped from his home and forced to 8ecome part of the Demonist's crew.

[07:13] LP: The Oceaneer of course had kidnapped and 8lackmailed crew mem8ers as well, 8ut the difference was that she did have her trusted first m8.
[07:14] LP: As the 8attle 8egan, it quickly grew violent and deadly.
[07:14] TA: (380!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
[07:14] LP: The Demonist's ship was set a8laze, as Fire8ird's favored weapon was a flamethrower.
[07:16] LP: Tulius was seen 8y Vanora, who had 8een a close friend of the young troll 8efore his kidnapping, and she jumped ship to attempt to save him from the 8urning 8oat.
[07:16] LP: Neither returned from its flames.
[07:16] TA: (38X!!)
[07:17] LP: The Demonist was hit 8y the Oceaneer's weapon, a spear, and fell into the water. It wasn't a f8al wound, and he 8oarded the Oceaneer's ship.

[07:18] TA: (oh ship i didnt mean to type that but still works)
[07:19] LP: The two 8egan a heated one-on-one com8at, with Fire8ird watching from the sidelines. Then, without warning, the Demonist turned and shot Fire8ird through the chest with his gun.
[07:19] LP: She fell to the ground, 8leeding and dying.
[07:19] LP: The Oceaneer, in a fit of rage, sta88ed the Demonist in the stomach, causing him to fall off the ship and into the water. His 8ody was never recovered, 8ut it was assumed that he survived.
[07:20] LP: The Oceaneer attempted to save her first m8, 8ut it wasn't to 8e. Fire8ird was already dead.
[07:21] LP: It was in the following moments that it was revealed that the two of them were not, in fact, moirails, but instead m8sprits of a kind, their rel8tionship a8normal in Alternian terms, more transcending the quadrants than anything else.
[07:22] LP: The Oceaneer took a smaller 8oat and filled it with tinder 8efore settling Fire8ird's 8ody inside and sending it out into the sea. She lit it with a flaming arrow and watched as her m8sprit's 8ody 8urned.

[07:23] LP: She then took her ship, now alone, without a first m8 or a crew, and sailed away. It is assumed that she followed after the Demonist to exact revenge, 8ut she was never seen after that.
