Kyouka is positive that Corvus is hiding information about the Sphere from the Hell Guard and society at large.

Corvus is positive that Kyouka is falling down a path of using more and more unethical methods to gather information about the Sphere from anyone she deems suspicious.

Both are correct, but neither can prove it 🤔

LISTEN. I know what you're about to say: "Of COURSE he's going to look extra good for a high ranking Hell Guard visit, he's a professional" but I DON'T CARE they are antagonistic as fuck and you can cut the tension between them with a KNIFE so just let me have this! He's looking extra fine because his hot girlboss enemy is coming for a visit

(but real talk? there are sooooo many layers to Corvus being the one to deal with and call out the Hell Guard's unjust aggression towards Rudo, but this is a "Corvus should fuck Zanka's sister" post, so we'll go over actual narrative analysis another time, I promise)

These two speak to each other in such hostile riddles djfhgkjdhf but they do know exactly what the other is talking about without missing a beat. Before this, Kyouka was remarking about the weather and Corvus immediately understood what she was really getting at and i just think that's hot of them

Guys, he looks at her like he's having the time of his life toying with her PLEASE she's all like "this is YOUR responsibility and YOU are at fault and we WILL punish you" and he's like "hehe you're so full of shit, but it's cute how hard you're trying <3" KJDHFGKJF

There is nothing anyone can say to convince me that Corvus didn't already know that Kyouka hates coffee, but served it to her anyway. PLEASE HE'S SO PETTY I LOVE HIM

Nah nah, in the words of @iizuumi : "they need to fuck it out" AND IT'S TRUE.

These two met ONCE and I have not been able to erase them from my brain dhfgkjdhfg

Kyouka is cold and has a lot of hard edges, and she's especially tough on others regardless of how good her intentions are (ex: training zanka, wanting to "arrest" rudo). We don't know much about her yet, but she doesn't seem like the type to hide anything about herself - she openly called Enjin a "charmer" and wanted to say hello to him lol. Meanwhile, Corvus is level-headed and kind, and he's pretty lenient on the people around him, but also incredibly mysterious. He keeps details about himself close to his chest. They're such opposites, but man, they'd be so good together imo
