It's sad, that's for sure. Poor Lestranges have terrible luck with their children, a lot of them die at a very early age or really young as adults. First was Ermessende, oldest daughter of Leonhard and Arabella, who died at 6 of the Bubonic plage after being infected while traveling to Viena. Corvus (I) died at only 39 of a rare form of cancer, that also took his brother Cyrille (I) a few years after. Maeva, daughter of Corvus (III) and Egantine died during her daughter's wedding at 42 after choking with a badly cut fish. Sidonie, daughter of Eugene and Irene, died at 25 of Polio while studying in the US. Solange, the oldest sister of Rodolphus (II) and Rabastan, died at 1 because of a heart disease. Why did they have such a bad luck?
