I just watched I Do and when they did We've Got Tonight I just started crying because I miss Cory so much I don't know what to do with myself
sorry i'm just now getting to this! i tend to do a thing where i'm like "i'll answer this in a minute" and then i forget. but here i am now, fret not.
i completely understand your feelings. we all miss him so much. for me, it was probably one of the worst things to happen in my life, and i mean that sincerely. so you are so not alone in missing him, we're all with you.
there is nothing that can really make the pain go away forever, but one thing that i find makes me feel better is this: i listen to his version of I'll Stand By You, and I imagine that he's right there with me, sort of comforting me in a way? It makes me think that although his life was short, he touched so many people and he had such an effect on everyone who loved him.
He's gone, but he's not gone from my heart, or any of our hearts. That is the most important thing, and that's what gets me through the day.
I hope this helped you a little, or a lot. if you need me at all, please come back and talk to me <3

i can still remember how it felt the first six months after he died. it was a horrible feeling. it's really hard to believe it's been nearly 12 months.
i feel weird because i think about him every day, and i think that i'm the only one who does that and people would call me pathetic if they knew and say "forget it!" I mean i know gleeks, his friends and family think about it every day but, idk. I feel that even lea is okay with this now, and she's ready to move on, i know she isn't but i feel that. I'm saying shit. just think you're an amazing friend angela and you can make a person feels better, always. god If i write this sober imagine drunk
i’m sosososo sorry i just saw this message. it got buried under news ones and i didn’t think to scroll down. don’t let anyone tell you what to think or feel about this. it’s okay to take as much time as you need to grieve over it, most of us still are, even if it takes weeks or even years. lea’s trying yes, she’s doing it one day at a time and trying to live her life as much as she can. i want to do my best to help anyone who ever needs it or be someone anyone can talk to about this. we’re all in this together afterall so whenever you need me, sweetheart, i promise i’ll do better (and reply sooner). i hope you’re doing better ♥.
what i really like about the way that glee has explored finn's death is the acknowledgement that it's not just burt and carole who are grieving.
glee doesn't allow them to monopolize their pain.they allow finn's friends to grieve, too. they recognize that everyone was affected by it and aren't going to prevent a certain character from mourning finn because they weren't a close friend or a relative or a parent.
and i think that also applies to the fandom and cory, too. many of the cast and crew of glee have acknowledged that the fans are also in mourning and are allowing us to do that.
it's opening his memory to whoever wants to honour it. it's letting whoever wants to grieve, grieve, even if they're a fan sitting behind a laptop who's never met cory or any of the glee cast before.
in the quarterback lea was shaking, idk how does she wake up without him, but how many girls are in the same position as lea? we only care about her cause we see some characters on tv that's why i wanna forget and that's why i think it's a little selfish, it's 1am here idk what i'm saying, sorry. I just came here cause you're the only person who makes me feel better about this, i cry mostly when i think about lea, i wish i could hug her and make her happy again. *sorry for any spelling mistakes*
there are others hurting but it doesn’t make supporting and sending condolences to lea selfish. her and cory have been a big part of our lives, so it’s understandable and completely okay that we grieve with lea over cory’s death. it’s okay, sweetheart, don’t apologize, sometimes it just hits us pretty hard at times we don’t expect. i’m glad i can help in any way and i will continue to do so for as long you want and need me to, love. i wish i could hug her too but jonathan and all her other friends are doing that for us and she knows how much we love her and that all of us are here for her always. <3.
