2 questions.

1: since you helped keep me from corrupting... Should my gem continue to crack? I'm unsure if those 2 were ever related but my gem would often crack first, then I would start to corrupt...

2:... Is it possible for cracks in the gem to one day become...irreversible.

I- I mean I'm totally not still getting cracks on a daily basis! I just met someone and am curious haha.

If this is recurring, its never irreversible- Even shattered gems may be reassembled if most of their pieces are found. I can give you something a bit easier to come by than direct diamond intervention. *summoning small bottle from gem, Setting it down to Cory with low gravity* Its a small bit of concentrated mending salve- Its made with some herbs native to Homestead. If you wish to make it yourself, I can sent over some seeds and have a few of my terraformers and agriculturists for our biodomes for a quick day of setting up a small garden where you can assemble the ingredients yourself. I'll send the exact recipe another day- For now? Heal up and rest up, child.

Don't know if you've heard but... My gem won't heal

This isn't normal, and I won't tell you a sweet lie to make you feel better. This isn't normal and requires serious help. I think my previous assessment was correct, You have some sort of internal stress getting redirected to your gem. even if if it does heal, healing under uneven pressure will make it more fragile than ever. @iridescence-diamond, We need to get her to a proper crystologist- We need to externally stabilize the gem somehow before we go any further looking for treatment.

Uh... @soft-iridescent-pyrope said you need to know something about my dad so you can 'judge him correctly' or something... I really don't think its that important, but I guess I might as well bring it up myself instead of her... so when I was 6 or so, he took me out of school. We moved around a lot seeing different doctors. They did a bunch of procedures and tests and stuff. I had to take a bunch of meds and sit through imaging...had a lot of CT scans. I- its not a big deal though! he was just trying to... He just wanted to understand my existence...

Sounds like your existence wasnt yours in his eyes. Understanding you should be second to supporting you. Regardless of your powers, you needed support for your gemhood and all you got was tests to figure out what it is and how it might be used to benefit others. I think your father deserves life behind carborite bars, but im frankly more interested in supporting you where he couldnt. If I had my way, I'd find some way into your planet's legal system and adopt you myself..
