In all seriousness, much like with the passing of Thea White, I was very sad to hear this news. I know a lot of people associate him more with Lou Grant on 'Mary Tyler Moore' and ‘Up’, of course, among many roles that have made him legendary as an actor, but to me, Ed Asner will forever be Cosgrove; the best damn cop in television history. May he rest in peace.
