Katja had proven to be difficult to track down, but that just meant more of a challenge for Helena. A challenge she liked very much and so rarely had given how predictable most of the copies had been. Beth proved to be the hardest and when Thomas was alerted to a group of the copies banding together he instructed Helena to back off. It was several days later when they discovered one of the copies as going to Minnesota and it seemed not for a visit. Cosima Niehaus was attending the University of Minnesota. No matter, she was now separated from the group and would hopefully not be on alert.
Helena followed her for a day, studying her routines of the day as best as she could. She had witnessed throughout the day just how much she interacted with other people and always with a big smile on her face. It was as if she didn’t feel different. Disgusting that this sheep tried to act like a real human being. She would be taken care of very soon. It was dark out and while she had assumed that she would be returning to her dorm for the night she found her going back towards the college. The paths leading to different parts of the university were slowly becoming covered in snow. Thankfully it was soft and didn’t crunch under the weight of her boot covered feet. She remained a comfortable distance behind Cosima, watching the way she walked. It seemed so relaxed and proved that she was unaware that someone was following behind her.
