Here are things I remember to go along with lurkings' list!

Renarin and Tien are friends, and Adolin and Kaladin meet through them. Adolin and Kadolin are their bully defense squad. :')

Spren are the rival phone brand to the Seons.

Kaladin does pole-vaulting.

Sadeas is the terrible PE teacher.

Hoid is a substitute teacher who just kind of shows up whenever anyone needs him, whether they know it or not. All the kids love having him! He knows all the subjects he subs for and gives good (if weird) advice. Sigzel was in his class but when he had an actual class that one time possibly?

Jasnah teaches history! And she says "this is what's in your book that you need to know, and here's some extra/conflicting stuff that you need to know. She's a great teacher and also adds cool stuff for them to learn about! When Shallan transferred in she wasn't gonna get into Jasnah's AP class, because of bad grades from crappy teacher at old school and because it's too late in the year, but she confronted Jasnah and impressed her and got in and is top student! (And totally has a crush on her.) Jasnah also sponsors the debate team!

Kelsier was the art teacher who helped Vin recognize her talent, then got fired in a way that helped bring down the Lord Ruler? Something about that?

Bridge Four is this super tight friend group with all these inside jokes, and everyone thinks they're kind of weird but are also kind of jealous. I bet they all met in detention. Kaladin gets detention a lot for defending people from bullies and things like that, especially now that the Amaram kerfluffle got him labeled as A Bad Kid. Speaking of which, I think the thing Amaram accused him of was stealing and sharing the answer sheet to a big test. His accomplices got expelled but he got off with a suspension and a reputation. I'm still not sure what he actually did? Amaram offered Kaladin a cheaty A+ and got refused and had to cover his tracks so no one would listen to Kaladin? Not perfect, because the shardplate thing was legal, Kaladin just has issues with it that I'm not sure how to translate right? I need worry less about getting perfect parallels, I think. :')

Tien is such a sunshiney kid though, he was kind of really devastated but he was putting on a brave front for Kaladin cause Kaladin was getting really really angry/upset about it!! He was really sad but. He is such an optimist. ;u;

I was gonna say Lirin was super disappointed in him for failing, but then I remembered that the whole thing was because Roshone hates Lirin. Maybe they are both in PTA or somefin?

highschool AU ideas with WOR spoilers! =O

Roshone put Tien in Amaram's class which is known to be really hard and something Tien maybe couldn't handle and then wouldn't let him transfer out, cause he hates Tien's dad. The thing is, besides being a difficult teacher who likes failing his students, Amaram is totally racist and mean and terrible!! But the superiors all like him, no one has any evidence. Tien was actually gonna pass maybe!!! but then Amaram did some stupid mean thing like loose his final and not let him make it up, so he got an F, totally ruining his college chances. At some point in the future, Kaladin organizes some kind of protest thing in his defense, and gets suspended. Adolin skips school with him. Amaram is put in charge of like, an anti-cheating thing or something, which he uses to get students he doesn't like in trouble. But Kaladin finally exposes his terrible favoritism and racism and stuff!!! finally!!

I'm trying to figure out what Amaram did to Kaladin that equals the shardplate thing, though. Something about how Kaladin was doing a good job and Amaram was gonna give him some illegal extra credit, but Kaladin was like nah that's not fair, so Amaram accused him of cheating and put a black mark on his record. =O

OH man he totally accused Tien of cheating on the final though too and got a hecka mark on his record plus failing the important class. and maybe expelled??!! That's like dying, right? But then no cute renarin & tien friend times. 0n0
