About The Cosmic Cubes
The cosmic cubes were created by beings known as the Beyonders, immensely powerful entities, which exist in a dimension different from that of the earth.
The Cosmic Cube (Comics) and The Tesseract (MCU) are not specifically the same. Some say yes but I do not think so.
While sharing similar abilities (the power to alter the surrounding environment and the generation of colossal amounts of energy)
The Tesseract in Marvel's cinematic universe is essentially a gateway to space (and possibly time).
The cosmic cube is an object of immense power that has several vaguely defined abilities, for example alter the reality. In a series of stories by Jim Starlin in the pages of "Captain Marvel" he was able to use the cube to erase everything Thanos had done, using the power of the cube. Interesting, right?
Both can associate with the crazy Titan Thanos and the Red Skull in both universes.
The fact that Marvel Studios chose not to explicitly refer to the object depicted in Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, and Avengers as "The Cosmic Cube" allows them to use that name to describe another cube if they choose creating one in a later movie.
In Thor: The Dark World, it is revealed that the Tesseract is, in fact, one of the gems of infinity. Something they could do because they previously avoided calling it Cosmic Cube.
And how are we in the time of not spoiling anything I will not say I'm thinking except that ...
Is it possible that in Avengers Endgame there is another cosmic cube and that it is not the Tesseract?
