Bortom Universum

Två universum höll på att kollidera; följden kunde bara bli förintelse av de världar som människorna kommit att betrakta som sina. Någonstans ute i det okända väntade de varelser som kallades Helveteshundarna på att kasta sig över människornas världar.

Men ute i det okända fanns också de gåtfulla varelser som kallades de Kosmiska ingenjörerna. Två jordmänniskor färdades ut till universums gränser, inte bara till materiens utan också tidens ände, för att försöka avvärja en ofattbar och till synes oundviklig katastrof....

Bortom universum var Clifford D. Simaks första roman, skriven 1939 och ett magnifikt exempel på den tidens vildsinta science fiction där galaxer skapades och förintades i våldsamma explosioner av obegränsad fantasi. Det är ett äventyr för var och en med fantasi och fascination för det stora och det ofattbara – en ”space opera”-klassiker av stora format.
