So...hm...I just had a random thought.
Nellsa doesn't react much to people hitting her. Sure it's slightly painful, so why doesn't she get mad or angry? Why doesn't she learn that pain is punishment?
Well cosmic sheep love to wrestle and roughhouse around. Even getting up in age they'll still challenge friends and strangers.
There is no asking. One will simply go up to another and headbutt or bite their tail. If the other refuses to play, they're tormented a bit more before being left alone.
Nellsa is the same. If you just come up and start hitting her, she may assume you're playing. If she doesn't want to, she'll brush it off. Nothing to get mad over.
I feel bad for making such a carefree species lol
