Plus at this point almost everyone who would read Homestuck while being validly critical of it in terms of narrative have made the wise decision to stop reading so that everyone who's left reading it are praising it blindly which is really Not Good Either.

well i mean i don’t want to insult people still reading it but i do think there’s gonna be a lot of bias in there, i’ve seen a lot of people saying that they just want to finish it out because homestuck’s been an important part of their life which i can respect! but like...that doesn’t make it good from a critical standpoint

so that does make sense why you don’t see more criticism of it because it reached a terminal terrible point a while back so everyone who wasn’t super invested jumped ship
