Delirious

Despite being one of the more emotionally stable Jedi in the Order, Braig suffers from horrific nightmares, starting around the time he began engaging in active combat - so, from the time he was thirteen years old. Most of them are incoherent messes he doesn’t remember again upon waking, blurs of dampened colour and faded movement and muffled sounds, and, while those bother him, they’re not too bad. The real problem is the dreams that are clear. Battles he’s fought, friends he’s lost, people he’s failed, traumas he’s survived, all sorts of things like that, replay themselves in his mind nightly, and those can leave him feeling really shaken up. It can take a long time for him to calm down after a nightmare, if it’s bad enough, and he’s gotten actual panic attacks from them, before. Sometimes, it can take a while for him to realise the dream is over, and that he’s safe and sound in bed.
