Hi! I just wanted to say I really enjoy you're fics, but I've been thinking about the young justice x fma cross over fic.

I remembered the episode where the team goes through a fail simulation and Meg accidentally hijacked everything. But now I'm wondering how she'd handle it if she some how saw either Ed's memories of the day he committed taboo or if she'd see what he saw/experienced when he went through the gate.

I don't know how The Gate works in the YJ universe but seeing as Ed can still perform Alchemy, it makes me wonder what would happen.

Would she accidentally create a "mental simulation/hallucination" where Ed has to try and figure out it isn't actully happening.

I just got excited when I first found your fma x yj, and started coming up with what it's.

I also keep having the recurring thought that Ed and Ling are pretty much young adults from the 1900, surrounded by a room full of 2000 kids. And young justice having moments were it feels like their talking to their grandparents because of the bullshit that Ed and Ling consider normal.

Robin gets a common cold/flu and Ed's solution is to make him some cough medicine, cause "hello, im an alchemist", only to be surprised that their isn't cocaine in modern cough medicine.

I do actually have vague plans toward Failsafe, but I'm not nearly far enough into my fic to be giving it full thought rn. Ed and M'gann are guaranteed to have a moment together tho! ALSO, YEAH, EDLING ARE DEF OUT OF TOUCH. I just haven't gotten many natural chances to exhibit that aside from dc's insane technological development. The medicine thought is esp funny since Ed's probably BEEN on some shit during his automail surgery and rehab. I'm just not personally equipped to address the medical use of drugs lol.

hi, i just want to start off by saying that i really enjoy banshee in a well, and how you write tim. i'm super excited for more of your work in the future.

it's always exciting when a new writer enters this fandom and they've got interesting new ideas/takes on characters. they come across really well in your writing. especially damian. i get tired of people writing him off like a heartless brat, when he has to interact with tim. so thank you for writing him the way you did.

but anyways, i was thinking about infinity war and how when peter parker was snapped he took the longest to go cause his powers were trying to heal him as fast as he was being turned to dust. i think the russo's confirmed that as canon and hinted that peter felt himself physically disappearing.

but now i'm thinking of banshee in a well!tim, and what would happen if the dc universe was affected by the snap. i'm just imagining almost the whole bat fam being unaffected by the snap, only for tim to be slowly turning to dust. but his body healed almost immediately. so now he's kinda stuck in this painful loop of there not there.

i'm only mentioning this cause the idea of the justice league losing to thanos, and the bat fam turning towards tim cause they hear his horrible screaming, almost like a banshee, and they see just how far his power can go but are helpless to help him.

i don't know if it'd stop after a minute or so but for more angst, tim's just stuck in an endless cycle looping between physically there and just dust. once they do defeat thanos, tim's pain tolerance is just scary high afterward. with him having to learn how to block out completely.

i know this is super rambly, but i've got to write it out before i forget. i really want to draw something, but schools kinda kicking my a$$ at the moment.

i imagine him looking more ghostly, with the outline of his body seeming almost see-through, and falling away.

I'm so so sorry it took me this long to reply, but your ask has been giving me so much strength during the past week(s) and just. Means so so much. First of all, thank you so much, hearing that I've written the characters in a likeable way is relieving (and encouraging!) I adore Damian, and do think that writing him as an incorrigible little brat does him such a disservice. He's a kid. He's a kid! And a traumatised one at that, who has been through so so much, only to be rejected by his father and forced to fight for his place. He's come so far and he's complicated and I love him. He's just a kid! And I wanted to write his relationship with Tim as a complicated one, because neither of them actually know each other. But they want to.

Second of all, I ADORE YOUR THOUGHTS. I love it so so much when people toss this sort of stuff at me, and you just. Aughh killed me with that theory. Because honestly yes, that's what would happen! I don't really go much to MCU, but it would be an interesting scenario because what would prevail? Tim's ability or the snap? The origins of Tim's ability is purposefully ambiguous and unexplained, but I do have my own thoughts on it, and in this case, it probably wouldn't work.

Immediately that is.

Since Tim doesn't actively heal until he's dead, he wouldn't be stuck regenerating over and over. So that at least would be... mostly painless. But if I tweaked his power a little bit to begin the moment he takes a fatal blow, then yeah, he'd be stuck and boy howdy would it suck. His pain tolerance is already pretty high, but that would skyrocket once the Thanos problem is solved.

If you ever do draw something, then I will happily eat it immediately, but there is no pressure. Just seeing you ramble is delightful!!! Thank you so much for the ask!!!
