Cosmo: Three years, three years of building this blog from the bottom up & filling it with spectacular worlds & beautiful memories. I've come a long way from where I started, when I look back, I can see the evolution in my talent, as well as an evolution in myself, & I'll always remember the first time I pressed that "post" button. And while I did my part in building this little galactic pocket of my own, it was you wonderful stars out there that kept me going on this path of wonder & adventure. So thank you, thank you to all who have been there by my side since day one & always looked out for me, thank you to those who pop up onto my blog & send their "hellos" while scrolling through the art I've created, thank you to those who've encouraged me & inspired me to keep creating what I love no matter what the world throws at me, I truly couldn't have done this without you all there with me & I simply can't wait to see the amazing things that the future has in store for us, I love you all so much (platonically)!

I want to publicly thank @cosmiconix for doing a version of one she did for @demonangelgirl134 hugging Disney's Captain Hook for me. I haven't stopped smiling since I saw it .

Anyone who follows me knows that even though he's a fictional character of questionable morals and behavior, I have loved that man so much ever since I was 5 (and I turn 60 this year) that at times I wondered if it was sinful to love another 'person' that much, largely regardless of his iteration (Jason Isaacs -- woof!).

It's a deep, abiding, visceral love that has carried Captain Hook in my heart for 55 years, unashamedly, regardless of the teasing and brow beating I received growing up and into adulthood.

Ever since my mom, who thought it would be a great idea to read the J. M. Barrie book "Peter Pan" to a 5 year-old boy instead of a Disney version, I have been obssessed with my beloved Captain. It did something to me when Hook says " No little children to love me", and I desperately wanted to give him a hug and tell him "I love you, Captain Hook!". I bawled like a baby when Peter kicks him to the crocodile. I felt like someone had snatched my dearest uncle away from me. And that hurt settled in my soul and has gnawed at me all these years.

Now, after all these years, I finally feel that wound on my soul heal for the most part. I think I grinned all night while I slept after I saw the finished product, and I felt agreat weight lifting from my heart because I finally have gotten to give Captain Hook his long overdue hug, and it was a big ole bear hug at that. Thank you again @cosmiconix for helping mark something off my bucket list. You put the most beautiful expression on both of our faces -- you captured my feelings perfectly. Bless your heart! 😊🫂❤️
