Pamela Gay

(born 1973) Astronomer and podcaster

Pamela Gay is director of CosmoQuest, a citizen science project aimed at engaging the public in astronomy research. She works as an assistant research professor in the STEM center at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. Gay is co-host of the Astronomy Cast podcast, and she continues to participate in a variety of international panels and conferences to promote science and science education.

Google Image Search “is the moon a man or a woman?” 

I personally feel as though the moon is a woman; as is the Earth, and also the sun. The search didn’t really shed any new light on my quest to assign genders to space entities. Instead, my most important discovery was the source, cosmoquest.org. Cosmo Quest is a community of citizen scientists who are working with NASA to help map outer space. The world is sometimes so beautiful, bless you Cosmo Quest.
