       This fight has been a choreographed danceof destruction for so long, tearing them where they needed to heal. The time hadcome for some new moves. The time had come to use empathy instead of anarmoury. It’s time to let folks say the truths that have tortured them so thata new and better future can emerge.

       Aranea wouldn’t say it was the worst fightever but it was definitely the most exhausting. Then again, it was worth itonce they’ve gained victory. It was well needed to have one more helping handin the group.

       She’d struck her spear into the ground, herhelmet still on her head. Her muscles were sore but she was still pushingthrough.

       “Could say the same to you. Keep up the good work.”

       Not that it was her business in the firstplace… but she was willing to help Noctis if it meant that he would livelonger without being bound by the rules the Gods have made. She could only assumethat it was the bitterness in those dead souls that was what caused all this inthe first place. But who was she to judge? Aranea never bowed to the Gods andhad no reason or intention to.

       But… it would be a big change and maybe achallenge to fight a God.

       “Who would have thought one simple request from the Prince would equal allthe orders I’ve taken at once. I’m looking forward to seeing how this wouldresult. Will you be joining us?”

An unlit cigarette hangs from pale lips, this close to falling from how careless he’s being. It’s not until he notices somebody approaching, a zippo in her hand, that he closes his mouth enough to not let the cigarette fall to the ground. The last thing he needs is for it to go to waste. It’s enough that it’s getting harder and harder to come by them. 

A raised eyebrow as he watches her light his cigarette up, immediately waving off the smoke that comes out. “ Thanks. ” with a note of confusion at the end of it. It’s appreciated although he wonders.  .  .  “ You always do this to strangers with unlit cigarettes? ”

The question serves to catch him off guard as seen by the way his eyes widen in response. It’s true that’s he been pretty down in the dumps lately but. He didn’t want to bother the others with his worries so he’s tried his best to not let it show. Seems like it has worked until now when Sitara has approached him to ask about what’s going on. 

A small smile is shown more out of reflex than anything before it’s replaced with a grimace. A sigh follows and he tilts his head left and right as if to say so and so before shrugging. “ Worried, I guess. ” which is putting it lightly “ I’m happy for Noct but I’m also worried, you know? The longer this trip goes on, the more bad things seem to happen. ” I don’t want my best friend to die.

          Even though V was awkward enough, he moved to wrap an arm around the other’s shoulders, and pulled the other close. Leaving himself close to the other, he closed his eyes for the split second before he pulled away.

Reno has no time to question her, instead following her words and rolling out of the way. Spinning around on one knee, the redhead would wack the person on the legs before zapping them with the taser end of his baton. Once they were knocked out, Reno would stand up with a quiet huff.
