Cosplay Modeling
So I'm too poor/untalented to make my own cosplay, but I'd love to do it and participate in photo shoots. How can I find people looking for cosplay models?

I have been thinking for a nice long minute now to do plus size modeling (just as a hobby, along with my cosplaying.) I want to do nudes, portraits, boudoirs; I want to do it all now. I want to feel and gain confidence within myself before i'm dead. For once, I just want to feel sexy.
Local Nerd Problems
I am having a bit of sadness at my local "nerd" scene. It feel like any local groups or pages for "nerd" culture are all based around female cosplay models.
And that's great, don't get me wrong, if a lady likes to dress up and post it so others can enjoy good cosplay, great. I don't even mind that most of the cosplay is sexualized, because hey, I like sexy ladies well enough.
But as someone who isn't that interested in looking at local girls being sexy and who doesn't want to dress up female, and who is fighting their own gender identity issues, and who really just wants a group for nerdy people that is fun and about talking nerdy things and making nerdy things, and being nerdy, it gets rough.
I would love to talk cosplay and costuming with a group of people, but because I am perceived female, unless my costumes is of a female character, or involves making a costume more sexy, no one wants to talk and no one cares. The other model girls don't want to talk, because why should they talk about costume making when their costumes are all leotards and push up bras that are made for them anyway? and why would the dudes want to talk when I am not talking about being sexy pikachu? That girl over there will tell him her whole process of how she puts her bobs into her leotard when I just want to talk about resin molds or model magic.
And I am not trying to complain that "fake nerd girls" are "ruining the nerd scene", all I am trying to complain about is that I have been invited to like at least 5 local pages about "nerd culture" that all end up being about female models, and when I try to post something in the groups about nerd culture, it is quiet. No response. No one cares. Pics or it didn't happen.
I feel like locally, in my small SoCal town, no one wants to talk about nerd culture, they just want to see some tits and I feel bad because I don't really want to show mine just to make friends.
