My cosplay summary 2020 

It was a difficult year. And for the most part, it consisted of cosplay tests, not full photo sessions. But that's okay! In the first half of 2021, I'm going to fix this with a Law shoot by one of my favorite photographers. 

And I will also try to raise money for a full-fledged cosplay of Thanatos.  His design is too awesome!

Cosplay Summary : 2015

Before I post my cosplay plans and wishes for 2016, I thought it’d be nice to look back at my costumes of 2015. Clicking the links will take you to the respective tag on my tumblr, where you can see more pictures and info on each costume. If there’s no link attached to a costume it means I simply haven’t shared any pictures of it on tumblr, yet.

Seven new costumes! It may seem like quite a lot (for my standards), but Ruby was a gift from Elynn (only had to make some small adjustments, the costume was pretty much flawless!) and Wendy was 90% closet cosplay. The above list doesn’t count in the four costumes I sewed for (and with) my sister, though and I also redid some parts of my Aurora costume.

Overall, 2015 was a good year, not least because of the whole bunch of awesome cosplayers I met at Gamescom, where I got invited to by Ubisoft Germany. (Still feeling both honoured and humbled by that, but it was awesome and I will forever be thankful!). Quality-wise, however, I really need to step up my game - especially Hilda is in dire need of some improvements. I also will not count on other people keeping their promises about group projects again. Lesson learnt. I also realised that -as you might have noticed- I struggle a lot keeping this blog updated. I really want to write detailed WIPs (for my bigger projects, at least), but I hardly even manage to post normal photo sets of finished costumes, let alone write down tutorials and/or rundowns. Nevertheless, I will always try to answer any (politely phrased) questions about my costumes, so if you want to know something (be it a wig shop recommendation or construction advice), just send me a message. I usually answer questions privately, unless I think the answer might be of general interest.

2015... man, what can I say. It was the shittiest year ever. Of all time. Like - really. BUT. There is always Cosplay. And Cosplay is great <3 And like every year I spend waaaayyy too much money on it this year, and here are some of the Cosplays I wore in 2015. Sun Wukong - RWBY Agent South Dakota - Red vs Blue Mercury Black - RWBY Percy Jackson - Percy Jackson Riku - Kingdom Hearts Kei Tsukishima -Haikyuu! Jaune Arc - RWBY Those are the ones I have proper photos of...but there was so much more, some of the others are included in the selfie picture! Female!Zoro, Oikawa, Wash, Jack Frost, Hades, Quicksilver, Felix, Hawkeye, Haymitch... I hope I will have a proper shooting with most of those the coming year, especially Felix and Quicksilver! My favorite Cosplay by far is Mercury. I love being incharacter, I have a fucking great Team CRME, and I think he suits me quite well~ Shoutout to all my cosplay friends, I love you all! Especially @vampyna and @bartifer though ;3 <3 Can’t wait for 2016! I hope it’ll be a much better year for me, and I am looking forward to my cosplay plans!

2014: A COSPLAY SUMMARY After getting into Homestuck last year, I continued to expand upon my old cosplays and I stepped out of my comfort zone to make new ones! I did a formal version of Rufioh on Valentine's Day because of a meet that I went to, and my new (now current) girlfriend cosplayed Kurloz. Around late February, the seven deadly sins were popular on Facebook and many people personified their sin, so I joined and did Lust makeup. In late March, based off of my Lust thing, I decided that I should throw together a little Kanaya makeup test, and I still plan to make a real cosplay for her soon! ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ In the summer, I was going to Anime Expo 2014 in June for two days and I busted out a Ryuko cosplay as well as a God Tier Jake cosplay!!! I had a lot of fun and gained more confidence in my cosplays, and I started to cosplay Jake more often (I even cosplayed his God Tier at Comic Con). In August, I planned to throw together a Jane cosplay for a meet in Downtown Disney, so my first Jane makeup test followed shortly before the event. Summer was over, and in late September, I hoped to improve some old cosplays before making new ones, so I made adjustments to my Rufioh wig. On Halloween, my blue polka dot dress shipped, and I cosplayed Jane in a cute little 50s dress that evening! Finally, for Christmas I ordered a new Karkat wig, and I hadn't cosplayed him since early January. So basically this year has had its ups and downs, but despite everything, you all have continued to stick by me and continued to help me grow and learn as a cosplayer and as a person. I am excited to share my experiences of new cosplays and events with you all, and I can't thank you enough for everything that you all have done for me. I love you guys more than you know, and I hope that we can all make 2015 a good one! (´∀｀)♡
