Cosplay convention checklist
(posting on here is weirdly intimidating lmao) So as might be obvious by my username, I'm a cosplayer. And as a cosplayer, I love going to cons.
Slight problem. I am super forgetful, any time I travel anywhere I'll always forget something. Including when I go to conventions. So I made this super handy-dandy checklist! It includes stuff you need on the con floor, things for at the hotel, food options, etc
Convention name:
First of all:
Tickets
ID/Passport
Medication (if you use any)
Cosplay checklist (fill in anything you need for your cosplay) Name character:
For on the con floor:
Water
Snacks* + breath mint or chewing gum
Comfortable shoes (to change into if your feet hurt)
Mini- First aid**
Deodorant
Emergency cosplay fix kit***
Phone
Powerbank
Wallet + cash (depending on the con many vendors might not take card)
Hotel:
Pyjama
Clean underwear
Set ‘normal’ cloths
Soap/Showergel (maybe shampoo+conditioner if you need to wash your hair)
Make-up remover or wet wipes
Towel and washcloth (Hotels usually got these, but I prefer my own)
Deodorant
Toothpaste and toothbrush
Hairbrush
Chargercord phone
Food options:
You can buy food at the con, tho keep in mind this might be expensive. Alternativly you can go to a fastfood place nearby.
Or, check if the hotel (or whatever place you’re staying) has a kettle, fridge, and/or microwave, and plan food accordingly.
Options include:
Ramen noodles Those instant food packages hikers use Any instant food tbh. Instant oatmeal (more of a breakfast option), soup, etc Those premade salads Microwave meals --------------------------------------------------------
*Snack options:
Fruit
Granola bars (there are so many options)
Fruit pouches
String cheese
Nuts
(Rice) crackers
Dont forget to pack a filling lucnh as well!
**First aid kit
Bandaids
Blister bandaids
Painkillers
Alcohol wipes
Cleansing handgel (cons are GROSS sometimes (most of the time actually))
