Day 17 of #30daysofcosplay your favorite cosplay memory Around 2000-something we went to Anime Usa. This was our first con that we stayed the night, we usually drove each day since Ausa back then was in Crystal City near our house. We had been cosplaying for about 1-2 years by then. There we meant some of the most amazing people Thatdragongirl cosplay, Ryu Productions, Kelson, & Anna. These were our first cosplay friends that we made outside of school! Fun story of how we met, I'm sure we all will never forget xD We were hanging out at a Naruto photoshoot, where we met the gang. We had a lot of fun so we kind of hung out in a hallway afterwards. We goofed around took some photos. Don't remember how it started but Khatera & Kelson were doing a mock battle. Khatera (cosplaying Sasuke) tried to cut Kelson's (cosplaying Naruto) ramen with her katana. Khat's katana shattered into peices when it hit the ramen. We all laughed at the unharmed ramen & how crappy our wooden sword making skills were 🍲 But it's been almost 15 years and we still love those goof balls even if we don't see each other as often.
