To do her hair, I would suggest some wigs with layers, so you could do her braid, but also have some hair to style up. You could also use a wig with no layers, but then you'd have to cut them yourself.  Here are some wigs with varying shades of green you might be able to use.

Because of busy schedules and finishing up things, I was unable to answer or post wigs for quite some time. Though, I am surprised to see that my followers has actually increased instead of decreased, which is a relief to me I assure you all.

Now that all the hustle and bustle is coming to a halt over in my neck of the woods, I will be able to answer asks and post again (Hurray!!). Due to the cluster of asks I had received during my 'break', I will be temporarily closing down my ask box in the hopes of catching up, at least somewhat.

To cut back on the load and to answer as many asks as possible, I will delete any asks that are for the same character, so feel free to check frequently to see if I answered yours or another who had asked the same thing!

Would it be okay to not wear a wig when cosplaying if the way you always have your hair already looks the same as a character's, or is that a no-no?

That can be iffy. More people accept that, than someone dying their own hair for a cosplay. I have seen many good cosplays done using someones real hair instead of a wig, and no one has said a thing about it. I say, if you think its good enough, go for it!
