Junko noticed the girl staring at her ears from her peripheral vision. With a soft sigh, she knelt down to Tamiko's level, and wiggled the fluffy ears on her head. "Pet em if ya want, but the staring feels funny..."
“Oh-- I’m sorry! Staring not intentional!”
She’d gasp out, shaking her head at the other; a Miqo’te, just like K’alian. Oh dear, she’d really screwed the pooch following the Paladin through that... Gate? Warp-zone? Teleporter? Tamiko wasn’t well-versed in fantasy teleportation, but it had to be something like that. The last time she’d seen “teleportation” was in Dragon Ball Z.
Watching her crouch down to let her pet the ears, though... Was that something that Miqo’te normally did? They were more alike cats than she first thought, though did cats even exist in this place? Did dogs exist? She hadn’t seen anything “normal” since arriving in...
Ul’Dah, was it? Or was this that Gridania place-- Tamiko was confused with foreign names.
“Th-Thank you, Miss... They looked so soft.”
She almost wished she’d been sent here as a Miqo’te, though she had no strange appendages or traits to show off. No horns like those dragon-people, no ears and tails like the Miqo’te, and certainly no height like those blue giants.
Extending her hand forwards, she’d blush as the softness enveloped her fingertips, gently pulling and rubbing the tips between her fingers. She wanted some so badly...!
“I was actually looking for a friend of mine, and you looked similar to her, so my apologies. My name’s Tamiko; I-I’m new here.”
Was that the right thing to just blurt-out? She’d never been sent to a fantasy world before! In fact, she was so convinced this was a dream until she’d gotten attacked that she hadn’t bothered picking up on generic queues that she should have gotten.
