Hello everyone Whiskers speaking!! So basically for my schools school musical we are doing little shop of horrors, I am playing Skip Snip and my costume is meant to resemble this :

so I have something important that I need help on:
You might not know, but a while (a WHILE) back I asked yall what song I should fully record (music video and all!) and, no surprise, we landed on Watch What Happens from Newsies. I surround myself with fansies, duh.
Anyway, I’ve been kinda working on this on and off for a while, but today I thought, ‘you know, I wanted to make a music video along with the singing. What could I wear?’
And surprise surprise, I don’t own many clothes.
SO, the big question here is what outfit do we choose? I have zero (0) outfits that actually are a Katherine cosplay, but I have a couple things that might work for a Katherine-inspired costume.
It’s pretty generally agreed that Katherine stays in the pink-purple-sometimes indigo/darker blue range, with some outliers (orange) like her KONY outfit, but specifically in WWH she’s wearing pink and white with the rainbowy stripes (hint, I don’t have that). I’m going off of Kara Lindsay’s Katherine, since it feels fitting (due to the fact that my Halloween costume was a Jeremy Jordan Jack inspired outfit).

Very similar to option 1 this one has a dark purple shirt but the same button up and skirt

Same white button up but instead we have a purple striped dress thing

Hey, Cosplay people! I want to get into cosplay/making my own costumes and clothes! What resources should I look into to start learning or what advice could you give me?
To the phandom in general, but primarily to the cosplayers among us:
I want to be Danny phantom for Halloween this year, and I need some help with contacts and getting/making a thermos
I’ve got dark blue eyes, and I’m pretty blind without glasses or prescription contacts. Where do you guys go for bright green contacts that are safe and, if possible, can be fit to a prescription?
And for the thermos, have you guys bought already custom made ones, have you 3D printed a base to modify, or have you found a similar style to paint?
Have any tips for getting long short hair into a wig cap?
I'm having trouble with my wig cap; my hair just won't stay in. It's too long. But I can't tie it up and put it in because my hair is too short. Everything on google is "how to put on a wig with long hair" or "how to put on a wig with short hair" but it's never "short but not short enough". All the hair that comes out of the cap would be fine if I was trying to put on a long wig, but my wig is short so my black hair is very visible under the short blond hair. I've tried putting in gel and hairspray but the hair won't stay.
