I bought a base wig and a clip on ponytail yet the ponytail is kinda heavy and is dragging my base wig down, any advice on keeping my base wig up? Will just a lot of hair pins work?

guys, what gel do you use to style wigs? i got my bayonetta wig the other day, but the gel i used doesn’t work on it.

the braids are already done but i need to style the curl on her bangs.

any tips/tricks or ideas to help?

So I got this wig for my David (Lost Boys 1987) cosplay and I was wondering if anyone could give me some styling tips?? I’be never styled anything before and wouldn’t know where to start tbh. Have any tips for getting long short hair into a wig cap?

I'm having trouble with my wig cap; my hair just won't stay in. It's too long. But I can't tie it up and put it in because my hair is too short. Everything on google is "how to put on a wig with long hair" or "how to put on a wig with short hair" but it's never "short but not short enough". All the hair that comes out of the cap would be fine if I was trying to put on a long wig, but my wig is short so my black hair is very visible under the short blond hair. I've tried putting in gel and hairspray but the hair won't stay.

In need of cosplay advice

Hi!

So I’m not really new yet sorta new to cosplay. Most cosplays I have done have been low budget. Anyway, I need advice on wigs. I have a big head and long hair, making it where I can’t find wigs that fit unless they are male wigs. I also have no idea how to properly put my long hair in a wig cap without bumps. 

So I want to start doing cosplays as my oc. And that’s the issue

I don’t know how to get a wig that fits me or to get one that looks like her hair. I put an olive green streak in her hair and it is sorta one thing that stumped my search. I wanted to get a custom wig done, but my parents (I am a college freshman with no job as corona prevented me from doing my usual summer job of babysitting as well as getting a job on campus) are against this.

Heyyy cosplay peeps, I wanted to ask if anyone had any tips/knows how to make fake facial hair out of wig fibers? Preferably reusable?

I'm working on my Caduceus Clay costume and I have A LOT of extra wig fibers that would obviously match perfectly with my wig, so I'd love to be able to do that if I can. I've seen a couple tutorials for longer/thicker beards, but Cad's is not nearly as long or full, so I don't have any idea where to even begin 😬 any help is appreciated!

So most of these are unedited but I loved being Sailor Moon at Setsu last month!!!! Does anyone have any tips on maintaining long wigs because all this thing did was tangle!!!!!! But I still loved it
