Here’s some photos of Lilo, Stitch, and Angel at Tokyo Disneyland, especially during the holiday season, to lighten the mood today.
First eight photos are from @kurage0404 on Twitter. (Sources: Nos. 1 through 4; No. 5; Nos. 6 and 7; No. 8.) Last two are from @ChunStitch on Twitter. (Sources: No. 9 and No. 10.)
Jumba, Pleakley, Felix, and Sample might have finally arrived in Walt Disney World
Remember my post last year with those linked Flickr photos about Angel, Reuben, and X-627 having possibly visited Walt Disney World? Now it looks like that this year, four more costumed character members of Lilo and Stitch’s ‘ohana may have also visited the Most Magical Place on Earth.
[REDACTED] over on SaveLiloAndStitch.org has found photos from yesterday (April 9, 2019) on Instagram of four L&S costumed characters that had yet to appear in the United States — Jumba, Pleakley, Felix, and Sample — posing for photos with Walt Disney World cast members. (As I mentioned before in the Angel, Reuben, and 627 post, Gantu and Hämsterviel actually made a one-time appearance in 2014 for a Disney Villains event. Sparky is the only remaining L&S costumed character who has still yet to make a U.S. appearance.)
However, based on the hashtags on these photos, as well as the plain office setting beyond the beach backdrop, it seems that these special meet-and-greets were unfortunately exclusively for Walt Disney World Cast Members, which also means that last year’s meet-and-greet with Angel, Reuben, and 627 was a similar ordeal. That sadly means that regular Disney guests in the U.S. still cannot meet-and-greet with the rest of Lilo and Stitch’s ‘ohana at this time.

Could it be? More photos of Lilo & Stitch costumed characters in the United States?
Ih. There are more photos.
I just visited CharacterCentral.net to look at some photos of Lilo & Stitch costumed characters (they have nice loaded galleries of them over there), and I noticed that some of the photos look a bit similar to the ones that I’ve shared in the past, especially that beach backdrop.
Turns out that there were a whole slew of new photos of Lilo & Stitch characters taken at a special event over at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in Walt Disney World back on February 3, 2019. Besides Stitch himself, there are new photos of course, there are new photos of Angel, Reuben, Pleakley, Experiment 627, Dr. Hämsterviel, and Gantu.
Including their signatures! (Although 627′s signature is unremarkable, and Reuben misspelled his name.)
Check the Flickr album linked above if you want to see them.
That’s not all! There are also more photos of Experiment 626 (the true alien form of Stitch), Angel, Pleakley, and Jumba at the “Moonlight Magic” Disney Vacation Club event at Epcot this past week. Check them out over here.
(All photos in the linked Flickr albums of focus were taken by Dan Brace.)
