I don’t think the blood moon had anything to do with their romantic feelings for one another (”binding souls for eternity” doesn’t really have anything to do with romance?) and so I definitely don’t think those feelings are now dissipated.
when star said “what do you see when you look at me?” she sounded so trepidatious; marco had just implied that it did work and she didn’t seem happy about that. also notice no one asked star if it had worked for her? she implied it did, but neither of them explicitly stated anything. maybe it’s just wishful thinking, but the star’s whole demeanour after the soul-splitting seemed like she was still in love with marco and i’m wholly convinced they are just pretending to not like each other because they both believe it’s what the other wants.
also them dancing + laughing + just having so much fun killed me omg
