I saw you headcanon Durango and River as coming from a conservative/reserved town. Following that idea, Durango is surprisingly good at group cuddles or even just cuddling in general, but he hasn't had a lot of experience with it.

Awww, I can definitely see that.

He’s had plenty of experience with ladies, but they’ve always been one night stands or little flings, so they were really over before cuddling ever became a thing. It’s kind of weird when he starts hanging around River, because she’s the complete opposite than most girls he’s been with. Of course, just because he isn’t experienced with cuddling doesn’t mean he’s going to push her, or anyone else for that matter, away when they snuggle up close to him. If anything it’s a nice form of physical affection he never had before, and it’s surprisingly nice.
