It’s group photo day! These characters come from a menagerie of different places... France, Ohio, California... and span the late 1800s to the 1950s. The newest one to the shop in this batch is the also the oldest one. It’s the large white one on the left with the gold filigree around the rim. It was made between 1893-1922 by the United States Pottery Company and has an 11 cup capacity. Like the other big pitcher next to it, it is a rarity in the antique collecting world. The United States Pottery Company only operated for less than two decades, so there aren’t as many pieces circulating around the world. I love so much how each one of these beauties has their own unique story to tell about history, manufacturing and time traveling;) . . . . . #antique #pitchers #collecting #antiquecollecting #vintagecollecting #collectorslife #uniquehomedecor #storiedpast #cottageliving #cottagedecorating https://www.instagram.com/p/B84DWQcgvfJ/?igshid=1a18tm05oj7os
