Carl Brummer (July 12, 1864 - 1953) was a Danish architect who designed unusual homes for artists and wealthy businessmen. His very first project was a Tyrolese-inspired cottage, Ellestuen, for author Alexander Svedstrup in 1895 in Ellekilde, north of Copenhagen.
