COTY is in dire need of being reworked, but I fear it’s too late for the devs to do anything this year.

The obvious change is to separate the votes between epic and higher rarities

But here’s something else to add: previous winners of COTY shouldn’t be qualified for the following year, since they keep repeatedly getting within the top 10-20. I mean, there’s a reason why they are getting such high ranks, but a majority of these cookies already have costumes (legendary ones, even)

Looking at you, Black Pearl.

Don’t get me wrong, I love them all (Black Pearl especially) but one cookie doesn’t need a whole lot of costumes. Especially since there are still cookies who’s been around for years, and never received even an epic costume, :(

Ah, another year that Devsisters doesn't seperate the votes into categories

As of now, the current standings are (in order):

Mystic Flour Cookie

Golden Cheese Cookie

Dark Cacao Cookie

Two of those already have costumes, and one is a Beast. Why is a Beast in first? It's unfair how there's a 99.9% chance that Epics cannot win, everyone in the top 20 (except Milky Way Cookie, who's in 20th) are Super Epic+

They should have seperated the vote like Ovenbreak did

Cookie Of the Year in Kingdom is going to be absolutely hell

We have gotten new Epic+ tier Cookies, specifically two Beasts, one Ancient (White Lily Cookie), Stormbringer Cookie, Wind Archer Cookie (he's new to release in Kingdom, he's not exactly "new" like Stormbringer Cookie is), Cream Ferret Cookie, Elder Faerie Cookie, and Camellia Cookie

I hope they're seperated into categories like Ovenbreak is
