Well, looks like it was the moment of truth. Everyone had waited patiently to see if he could or couldn’t lift this couch with his children perched on it. A grin spread across his face, hands running through and gather his hair before setting it into a ponytail.
“Weel, let's git dis pairtie stairted shall we?”
It was no small feat and there was some maneuvering and shifting of a complex nature to get started lifting the couch, making sure not to accidentally drop or loose anyone in the process. Probably would’ve been easier with a table, he could’ve gotten under there with no effort, but he liked a challenge.
In no time flat, the couch and it occupants found themselves being hefted, with what seemed little effort on his part into the air. Lance proudly standing under the furniture, not showing any strain or sign that he was wavering. In fact, he had some inclining to try going one handed, but didn’t want to accidentally drop them all and hurt anyone. Definitely easier with a table...plans for a possible next time.
“Sae, whit wis dat abooeht meh breakin’ ahr naht bein’ able tae dae dis?”
