So previews for JD 2025 came out, so here's mu opinion on them

JD 2025 Previews: Week 1

Side note: I might keep theses short since we only got 38 seconds for these previews (Please don't let it happen again when JD 2026 gets announced🙏)

Anyways, let's get started on the 6 previews:

Okay so, i had no idea what this song was gonna be, and yeah, i didn't know what it was-

I mean, the song is...okay, i just need some time to get used to it (or i might not who knows)

The choreo seems fun, it's a silly dance which i find them fun sometimes

I like the coaches costumes, i'll be real, i didn't care much for them when i saw the map for Don't Go Yet, but i can tell they'll grow on me

Lore wise, I thought the coaches were really in character for Halloween, but the way P2 did her move threw that thought out the window (not fully but still), so i really don't know what's going on with them lol

Overall, this map seems fine, i just wish this preview was a bit longer so i can have a full opinion on it (which is gonna be a problem for most of these opnions so yeah-)

I will be honestly with you all, i did get spolied on this map on Instagram (i didn't see all of it, i just saw the title and the coach)

I honestly think this map looks fun, it has great background effects and the coach looks stunning

I like how in the choreo, it seems like she's controlling the cards, which i love (i love the dancers acting like the coaches, it feels like their giving them personality)

Overall i really love this seated map, it's my favorite out of the previews, it's just something about it that i love

Side note: I really want to see all the cards we can see during the preview, the cards are so similar like how they did it during the Traveler season (which did introduce us to Night Swan after all)

I wamt to see people zoom in on the cards so we can see who's there (it might even give us clues on upcomming characters or characters that might be important later on!)

I'll keep it short, this map is fine, sorry but it's one of my least favorites of the maps

I mean, i like how they used the coach the same way they did with Master Panda and Panda Mihaly (speaking of which, can we get Master Panda back?👀)

This map is fine, moving on-

When i saw that Party In The U.S.A wasn't on Just Dance, i was gonna throw something/hj

Listen, this kind of music was a bomb back then, and i miss it-

This was one of the many songs i listen to back then, and i loved it, so i almost screamed when i saw this thumbnail lol-

Okay, back to the preview, i like the map, i was surprised to find out that the Juice (Yummy Version) was the coach for this (I'll be real, i didn't know she was reused coach until someone on Instagram said so-)

I like it, alot of arm movements (gotta get my arms sore again-) and i like how you can see the festival inside the restaurant at the begining (not be trying to look for Mister Overload on the billboards when it switched to the festival lol-)

But i feel like it's missing something, idk what it is but it's missing something

The Sweet Sensation coaches are back...and there's a cow i guess/hj

Okay honestly, i like the vibe from the coaches (even the cow)

There's so much going on in the background so it's alot to take in

I'm honestly meh on this map (i like the costumes for the coaches though)

Idk, i think i just need to watch this map a bit more...

Last one, and it's the one and only, Rasputin & The Bride!

I watched all the previews and thought it was only 5, but i'm glad i refreshed to see this map

I don't know the song but i feel like it matches their situation and how their relationship was

It's honestly nice to see how they were during their relationship (i know we saw their relationship in Sugar, but i guess i like this map more is because we get to see their facial expressions)

And their so sweet together, i really hope they can solve theses situations their in and get back together (but JD is unpredicatble so i'm not too sure)

And, Mina, honey, do you know how hard you would have had to stick poor Lucy for the safety pin to poke back out?! Neck skin can be thin, but maybe, just maybe, the blood had to do with the shadowy dude? But good instincts on locking the door and tying the key to yourself!

I see your “Dracula in dog form gets adopted by the people of Whitby” AUs and I raise you an AU where Dracula is a dog all the time. A vampire dog. Wearing a little vampire cape of his own. And no one notices or says anything about it until Dog!Drac takes his cape off, which causes them to wonder where Dracula went and where this dog came from, Perry the Platypus-style.
