Lord Kirill sets to organising his late mother’s last affairs. “But Kirill!” Lady Ekaterina exclaims as she reads her late mother-in-law’s last will and testament. “I take it you’ve gotten to the part about the entailment.” Her husband replies. “Male primogeniture?!” Lady Ekaterina continues reading from the document, “Furthermore, women only inherit if there are no male heirs left, and if there is more than one daughter, then they shall all be equal co-heiresses, and the land is to be subdivided evenly amongst them all.”
