I wrote a post earlier in this series of Strictly come dancing about there being a same sex couple participating. As well as them this year there is a also the first deaf contestant taking part. Rose Ayling- Ellis a young deaf actress who has been seen recently starring in the long running British soap opera ‘Eastenders’.
This week with her professional dance partner Giovanni Pernice they danced a couple’s choice to the Clean Bandit song ‘Symphony’. Rose said that she wanted the dance to be personal to both her and the deaf community.
Personally I think they got their dance spot on!
