courage doodles 2 try to ease back into drawing
This was a WIP that I never finished, so I figured I’d still post the incomplete version.
I grew up watching this little pink dog, I’m pretty fond of him, brings back childhood memories.
This should tell you all about my Summer Plans!
You should be very scared….or excited, one of the two.
Marriage Part 2/?
AUTHOR’S NOTE!: This only happen because of c2ndy2c1d and her cute pairings of Courage and Katz and other inspired pairings. Btw there is some Eustace bashing because I don’t like the way he treats Courage.
Supernatural Au with a surprise.

Previously:
Courage had begun to take better himself and continued working on his plan. However, no matter what Computer had tried, Courage couldn’t really smile and would cry at small intervals when something reminded him of Muriel.
And then, everything changed when Katz came by…
Present: September 25, 9:00 am. 2 weeks after the couples death…
Courage~! Courage, dear! Ah! There you are! Come on and help me make some lunch, hmm?
Muriel, where’s my lunch! I’m hungry!
Hold on Eustace. Courage is helping me make lunch. Isn’t that right, Courage?
Courage, oh you sweet thing. Let’s wake up! Wake up, Courage~. Wake up…..
Courage woken up groggily on the bed as the sun rays were shinning brightly through the window. He sighed happily and turned his head, fully expecting Muriel to be at the door. His heart shattered. It was all just a dream.
Once a sob escaped from his throat, Courage cry and cry, finally bleeding off some of the pain he was bottling inside. He didn’t even notice the sound of the door opening.
It was Computer who went upstairs to check on Courage. “You twit”, Computer softly petted Courage once he sat down on the side of the bed, the word no longer being an insult but rather an affectionate term, “You’re barely in the condition to work today. I’ll leave you outside and sit there. Maybe a break will do you some good.“
Carefully and slowly, Computer picked up Courage’s limp body and left him outside on the porch to view the scenery as he went to make lunch.
Courage didn’t have the heart to even speak because he feared that if he even opened his mouth, he might cry again.
So he sat there, staring at the scenery, but the longer he stared at the current progress of construction, the more he took in details of everything. (He didn’t dare hire contractors because he doesn’t trust the buildings to stand.) The plants and the trees were beginning to bloom beautifully in strategic areas with an dug up trench weaving in and out of the ground. It wasn’t quite finished yet but Courage had intended it to be a creek so the plants would be self watered and could shelter the man-made creek.
Then there was also plans to build a lake for everyone to enjoy, make a green house solely for crops and that would have it’s own water system as well and and… The more he thought about his current progress and his future plans, the more Courage was filled with renewed purpose.
By god, he still had so much to do but damn it all if he was going to let his grief stand in the way of honoring Muriel. And maybe, for once he could find happiness once he was finished with everything.
Courage was so lost in his thoughts he didn’t even notice a rather suspicious car approach the house. In wasn’t until he heard a rather familiar voice that gave him the chills did he finally looked at his guest.
“Ah. There you are dear boy,” Katz purred as he stood in front of Courage, blocking his view.
“What. Do. You. Want,” Courage bit out, he narrowed his eyes at the tall feline. Courage knows that Katz is never without something up his sleeve and this is no exception.
“Why, dear boy, whatever do you mean? I’m here to offer a special opportunity to whoever is the new owner of this land” Katz had smiled innocently, .
His words made Courage bubbled with rage. He had enough of Katz bullshit. How DARE HE! HOW DARE HE SHOW HIS FACE!
With a newfound strength and anger, Courage pushed Katz hard back toward his car. Katz was dazed, to think that Courage had the audacity to even touch him.
“Don’t touch me you filthy-” he began but was silenced by the cold fury he saw in Courage’s eyes.
“Oh, I’m sorry,” Courage snarled, clearly not apologetic, “but you see, I own this land now.”
Courage let his words sink into Katz’s head before continuing in a softer tone. “I don’t know why you keep on doing this but haven’t you learn after x number of failed schemes?” A growl formed in his throat. “And then, you have the nerve to come here after Muriel’s death! The only one that truly cared for me! But its not like you care do you?”
Katz felt an unfamiliar feeling of guilt clenching his heart as Courage let out a chuckle full of pain and sorrow. It lasted a few seconds until Courage sobered enough to continue his rant. Courage glared at Katz through teary eyes.
“I don’t want you to taint her memory any more with your presence,” he said, poking Katz in the stomach to make his point. Then he pointed to Katz car.
“Get off my land.”
And the usual suave and scheming cat astonishingly did what he was told, no longer full of arrogance but with guilt, left in silence.
And Courage who had done the impossible, had watched him drive away with clench fists and tears running down his face.

What am I doing? Jesus. I don’t know what I’m thinking doing this during finals week. Urgh. I’m crazy. I’m sorry for the angst! TBH I had the feels too and I’m sorry that Katz and Courage is a little oc. Hopefully though, I managed to capture each character’s personality well enough
Ladies and gentlemen, this year has been rough for you all because, to be honest, it isn’t a great year due to many tragedies currently happening this year. I hope with all my heart you guys continue to live your life as happy as you can in this cruel world. Part 1

Summary: Courage is actually getting married to his long time enemy now husband Katz. How did this happen?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Courage, known to most as the cowardly dog, was getting ready for a wedding. And this wedding was rather special, not because it was a union between friends but rather a wedding between one special cat and one very special dog in front of their friends and family.
This wasn't just any wedding.
It was his and Katz's.
Our beloved pink dog himself was getting ready to walk down the aisle beyond the door where Katz waited for his partner.
Courage never thought he was going to be married to Katz of all creature.
Scratch that.
Courage never thought he would fall in love with Katz in the first place, to say the least. After all, they were enemies for quite some time. He lost the amount of times he had to save Muriel (and reluctantly Eustace) from Katz's claws but he supposed that this all started to change once Muriel and Eustace passed away in their sleep.
Oh did Courage knew. He knew that because of their age it was only a matter of time before the couple died. And there was no way that he could save them from Death this time. And he expected it but he wasn't prepared how much their death caused him so much grief and pain. So after his discovery of the couple in the morning, Courage had begun to sort out everything with a heavy heart.
Despite the fact that this place would no longer be his home, the first thing that he did was to arrange their bodies to be cremated and then to be buried under the tree in the yard. Then he had contacted with the lawyer for the proceedings of the will.
To his surprise, the lawyer explained to him that in their will, all of their possessions would be passed on to him. Courage was relieved that he didn't have to leave his only home and that no one else was going to take it.
To be honest, if it wasn't for Muriel, Courage wouldn't even be here and would still be stuck in that dark alleyway where Muriel had found him. If he was lucky to survive, he would be living on the streets day by day, wondering what would be his next meal.
And so, in memory of Muriel, Courage made plans to make the property into a place where creatures of any size or shape could find at least a place to stay.
It wasn't until after the proceedings were done did the situation fully hit him and now, life was never the same after that. For many days, Courage mourned and grieved, barely talking to anyone, just moving around enough to clean and eat.
Computer, who was fed up himself with the long amount of silence, managed to move himself from the office and looked for Courage who was planting flowers around the grave at a slow place due to the lack of sleep.
Computer, as always, was ready to insult the dog for not coming by to clean the dust off (an excuse really, to visit him) stopped in his tracks as he looked at Courage and the graves.
For the first time, he didn't utter one single insult. Courage didn't even bother to look at him and continued his work slowly but once he started to wobble a bit, Computer instantly went over, gently picked him up and put him to bed, chiding Courage on the way for not taking better care of himself.
Little by little, now with Computer's help, Courage had begun to take better himself and continued working on his plan. However, no matter what Computer had tried, Courage couldn't really smile and would cry at small intervals when something reminded him of Muriel.
And then, everything changed when Katz came by... Part 2
Katz as a human. Sorry had to repost it wasn't showing up in the courage tag for some reason and edit didn't do anything.
