           “so...dad wants to come visit,” he sounds pretty neutral despite himself, but his back is turned to his sister while he has both hands in the sink. dinner and catching up was nice, but the youngest arc kept one specific topic quiet until his sister was full and sipping a good red wine. 

           “he hasn’t seen me since ren and i moved here. and he kind of....doesn’t? know about...us.” the scrubbing stops, turning over his shoulder then to peer at jacqueline, “will you come? and...if you do, will you promise not to fight with him?”

‵   i’m saving up to move to mistral.   ‵   that was an understatement, just shy of ordering a plane ticket, she was already prepared. it had always been her dream to surround herself with the arts, with theatre and dance. she loved her family dearly, but there was very little to keep her creative spirit thriving here.   ‵   when you moved to vacuo, how did you tell father   ?   ‵   @courageousarc
