Happy birthday!!!! 🥳🎉🍾🥂 Flawed and happy, perfectly imperfect, joyful loving, kind hearted, caring, passionate, sexy af, fun, fun loving, funny!  It has been a journey. A journey to self love, self respect, feeling like I am enough. Spending my birth month on Maui ☀️🌊🏄🏾‍♀️👙🏊🏾‍♀️🏝🐳❤🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 reconnecting with my inner self, pouring love and kindness into my vessel, filling my own cup up so I can serve from the saucer. So, as I prepare to head back home I take with me the warmth, the sun, the morning sunrise walks and the evening sunset watches, the easy daily ocean breeze, the disconnection from the world (kinda) and the reconnection with self. The time to dream and plan and believe. This is what 57 looks like on me. This is what self love and kindness, experience, courage, authenticity and vulnerability look like on me. Courageous Self Care. That's what I stepped into this evening. I've been having some very long days, that ended tonight. Going into these intense days, I also spent extra time pouring into me. Spent a day at the beach over the weekend. And now, I'm sitting in the quiet of the room, with my legs up the wall, honoring my feet. Am I back at it tomorrow? Kinda. Instead of jumping right back into it. I scheduled light days and spread out my work a little bit. It's courageous to care for myself this way. It's courageous to pour into and invest in me. It's courageous to say No to others so I can say Yes to myself. It's courageous to vent. It's courageous to have healthy boundaries. It's courageous to stand up to the mind committee while their arguments of how many other things you could be getting done right now seems so rational. Annnnd, I'm down for a little courageous self care. I love that it takes courage. Makes me truly value and appreciate the self care.
